COVID-19 Endangers Heart Disease Patients
Did you know that heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States and around the world?
From a recent study, death rates among heart disease patients with Covid-19 are much higher. Studies have shown that COVID-19 can complicate heart health leading to adverse outcomes and necessary hospital visits.
Heart cell injury, when cardiac cells are not receiving a sufficient supply of oxygen, is a common outcome in heart disease patients with Covid-19.
Prevention is the best solution. We encourage all people, especially those with a heart disease, to be proactive and heed the preventative council of medical professionals.
